Movie of the mind: 1939 I have Seen the Future
Maybe I toured the NY World's Fair in 1939. I know my grandfather took the train to NY fair and I have him pop in and out at the fair in my book 1939: I Have Seen the Future. The expectation in technology and quality of life at the fair is in stark contrast to the future at the beginning of the book. But it doesn't have to be apocalyptic.
